In Praise of Green: Chlorophyll, The Second-Most-Abundant Organic Molecule on the Planet

At the end of a cool, wet May, we have fields of green. Chlorophyll is the organic molecule responsible for photosynthesis--the process that converts sunlight into energy and enables plants to do what they do.
